An African Cultural Heritage group with over decades of outstanding performances in music, dance and folk music. Aklowa Drum Band have performed in many countries, as well as global events.
Who we are
Aklowa Drum Band is part of Aklowa UK Organization. This mother organization was setup by the late Felix Cobbson in the year 1977. He introduced the element of Traditional African Culture to thousands of people who visited the African Village at United Kingdom.
Currently, the group has a repertory of 32 traditional African cutural dance, 12 contemporary dance pieces and more than 1,000 African folk songs and rhythms.
African Dance
We are well known for giving splendid display of pure african dance at both local and international events.
Traditional Songs
We have a repertoire of traditional songs for all occasions. We perform such songs at events.
Education and Workshop
We organise workshops to train individuals and groups on African Cultural Art. We have trained more many people, both the young and old in many countries.
